In June / July 2011 the TÜV Nord, Hannover, successfully completed the recertification for the whole Arntz Optibelt Group. Beside the headquarters in Höxter, the production site Optibelt Produktions GmbH & Co. KG in Bad Blankenburg as well as the facility Optibelt Power Transmission (Taicang) Ltd. in Taicang / China were certified with TS 16949:2009.

Furthermore, the new facility S.C. Optibelt Power Transmission S.R.L. in Tãuþii Mãgherãuº /Romania, which took up production in the summer of 2009, was certified according to ISO 9001:2008.
 
With the certificate we ensure a constant product and service quality for all production sites and distribution companies. Thus, for example, all drive belts sold worldwide are produced with the same technologically demanding, top-quality special machines.

The same applies to our customer service/support. Methods, processes and operations in all areas are adjusted to the flawless implementation of our QM system. This way, a basis is created for the same systematic and the resulting quality. The Optibelt certifications all around the world are a perfect example for the implementation of and compliance with the demanded standards.

Optibelt Polska Sp. z.o.o.

In July 2007, as the manager Thomas Mronski, representative for the whole team accepted the "Recognition for the excellent level of customer satisfaction" certificate from Steinbeis GmbH & Co., the level of joy was understandably high. This also represents the good presence of the Optibelt Group on a worldwide scale. "Good products, excellent service and work in close proximity to the customers in the foreign market is our hallmark" said Thomas Mronski and continued by saying: "Our colleagues from 'Optibelt Polska' and the other East European sales companies in Hungary and the Russian Federation are working with much verve in order to ensure it stays that way".

In April 2008, TÜV Nord GmbH Hannover successfully completed the re-certification for the entire Arntz Optibelt Group. Alongside the Head Office in Höxter, the Optibelt Produktions GmbH production facility located in Bad Blankenburg was certified with the TS 16949:2002.
As a new member of the Optibelt family, the new OPTT plant in Taicang, China was certified for the first time in accordance with ISO 9001:2000.
With this certificate, we guarantee the same level of product quality irrespective of the plant that manufactured the product. For example, the drive belts that are marketed all over the world are produced by the same technologically premium special machines. The same also applies for services provided to our customers. Procedures, processes and operational cycles in all sectors conform to the error-free implementation of the QM System. Hereby, the foundation is laid for a uniform system. The worldwide Optibelt certificates are proof of the implementation of and adherence to the required standards.

After Optibelt received the environmental certification according to DIN EN ISO 14001:2005 for the first time in September 2005, Optibelt has now been able to prove that the company acts environmentally sound and practically and systematically promotes the set up of an Environment Management System according to worldwide standards.

In November 2011, the second re-certifications determined that environmental awareness is really lived at Optibelt. Various single measures, inspections, updating and trainings of our employees have contributed an important share to the optimisation of our environmental policy.

Thus, the validity of our certificate has now been extended for all German subsidiaries until 11/14/2014. In our subsidiary in Taicang the re-certification has already been effected in July until 7/29/2014.

High award for Optibelt Switzerland

The product and procedure assessment of the Steinbeis Transfer Centre in Heidesheim has supported Optibelt for many years during the carrying out of independent survey and answer assessments of customers. In 2005, Optibelt surveyed customers in Switzerland and the results were available at the beginning of 2006: "The numerous positive customer comments correspond to the good statistic results that we were able to identify" according to Dr. Karlheinz Hasenburg, manager of the Steinbeis Transfer Centre. Amongst other details, the Optibelt Swiss Team achieved particularly good results in the commercial area which meant that an above-average result of 1.34 points was achieved. Dr. Hasenburg presented Franz Büchler, Manager of Optibelt Switzerland with the certificate who was then able - along with his team - to celebrate the good collective performance in Switzerland. As in the preceding years, this certificate provides evidence that the customer satisfaction and service commitment are of high importance at Optibelt.

High level of awards is both an incentive and obligation

On the occasion of the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the "Verband Technischer Handel e.V." (German Technical Trade Association), Optibelt received the "Supplier to Technical Trade 2004" Award.

Recently, Hanns Loimer, Manager of Optibelt Austria, accepted the award in the form of a certificate in Vienna. "We now have evidence in black and white that the customers are satisfied with us" he said ecstatically as Dr.Karlheinz Hasenburg, Manager of the Steinbeis Transfer Centre presented him with the certificate.
