Optibelt Environment Management System

The environment is becoming ever more polluted due to increasing vehicle concentration and industrialisation. Therefore, everybody should contribute to protecting the environment. For this reason, the Arntz Optibelt Group has launched an Environment Management System in which the environmental policy is recorded in various guidelines. We ask all employees to read these guidelines and to act accordingly.
Our guidelines for environmental protection
Environmental protection does not stop with the fulfilment of legal or official requirements. Therefore, all employees are invited to suggest further measures that can be taken. Everybody is responsible for achieving the environmental objectives of the company. Production systems are to be operated in such a manner that the safe handling of products and waste is guaranteed. The system safety is a matter that is to be continuously further developed. We appeal to all employees to actively participate in this process by providing us with their own ideas and suggestions. Existing systems are to be adjusted in accordance to technical advances provided that this can be done in an economically reasonable manner. The best available technology is to be ensured. During the process selection phase, the potential of danger and risks is to be kept as low as possible. Safety concepts that also stipulate regular monitoring in order to provide evidence of the intended operation are to be developed for all technical systems. Technical solutions with which faults can be effectively tackled and where the effects can be limited are to be stipulated in addition to the required installations for the safe operation of the system.
